My Investment Approach
If you’re reading this, you’re probably considering my angel participation in your company. First of all, I’m excited about the possibility of supporting you, and thank you for considering me!

There are a couple of practical things to know about working with me;
- I don’t have a specific type of company or industry I invest in; it’s about the idea/concept/opportunity.
- I don’t consider myself a professional investor by any stretch of the imagination; I am driven by passionate people with innovative ideas and the teams behind them.
- I invest through an investment vehicle (that makes things easier for you and me), which means that I don’t invest outside the US, Canada, or Europe and that we need some materials like a deck, etc.
- I mostly invest in five-figure sums; feel free to proactively let me know what works for you and your company.
- If you’re not in stealth mode, I’d like to list my participation on Crunchbase.
- If you need my help, never hesitate to email, text, etc.
- Make sure to include your question when you reach out; this saves us both time.
- I aim to answer every email or message I receive, but I can not guarantee turnover times. If I accidentally missed your email or it’s urgent, please keep nudging me.
- I prefer emails over calls; it’s efficient and asynchronous.
- I’m happy to provide quotes or recommendations; it’s easiest if you write them and send them to me for tweaking.
- I love to hear how the company is doing, so feel free to include me in occasional updates. But if you’re too busy, no worries; that’s fine, too.
